id like to thank my younger self...

this swap is inspired by my cousin who was talking about how thankful he was for his younger self for making some great decisions(although possibly hard, financially straining, contraversal, heart wrenching at the time) in life that have positively effected his NOW life. he thanked himself for choosing the woman he married, for completing post secondary education, for having children...you get the idea.

for this swap, you will write a letter to your younger self thanking him/her for whatever comes to mind, overcomming certain difficulties, not getting in that vehicle, choosing a certain career or path, moving, getting fit, making a certain friend or dumping a certain friend... you can write as many thank yous as you can think of. be heartfelt and reflective. you might even say...if you (younger self) had not choosen _ i (now self) would not be _ today... you may even thank yourself for making a negative choice (in retrospect) that had a positive outcome that needs to be commented on. eg. thank you for choosing failing out of first year college....because that lead to you trying harder the next time you went back to school.

i will not put a page maximum on this swap but please make your letter to yourself (and your partners) at least one page long, after all, i am sure you have alot to be thankful for! you are here are you not!
