Birds and blooms...what could be more summery? Make a 4x6-inch journal page for your swap partner, using a firm but flexible backing...mid-weight cardstock or a piece of a manila file folder work beautifully. You can take this in so many directions: maybe tropical birds and bright tropical flowers, or perhaps some sweet songbirds and gorgeous summery flowers. Or, as the swap graphic shows, some chickens (aka: yard birds!) and bright sunflowers. Have a lovely creative time creating something wonderful! Remember to layer it up, play with collage, and use your sprays, paints, and rubber stamps if you're so inclined.
