Alice in Wonderland ATC Swap - International

If it's at all possible, I'd like to make one request.... please, no Disney. I LOVE the original drawings in the alice books, as well as most every other drawing except those in the disney movie.... :)

I prefer the original illustrations too, but all are welcome. =)

Alice in Wonderland is my favorite movie EVER! the disney version ONLY! I LOVE THE Cheshire Cat!!!

***** I do NOT like the Lewis Carrol version at all, but I will gladly make a card for someone based on whatever they chose. Just to let you know if I don't see a post from you on here its likely you'll get a disney based one.

I'm with Caker...I prefer the disney version as well...and I also enjoy the Cheshire Cat :)

Count me in on this one. Do what you must do but I don't care much for Disney ones. I'll make whatever you like but I prefer the original and vintage illustrations best.

Since it's sender's choice I'll be happy with whatever I receive, but I do love hand drawn ATC's as opposed to collaged from pictures (unless you made the pictures too). I don't care if it's the movie/book/stage performance/etc that inspires you, but really I would LOVE a drawn/painted ATC done by my partner (:

Oh, I love Alice in Wonderland! I would be happy with either style- Carroll or Disney.( But I do love the original book illustrations) Also, I am very interested in Lewis Carroll ( Charles Dodgson ) the man, and the little girl the book Alice is based on. ( Alice Liddell ) And I will happily match the ATCs I make to my swap partners' comments. I can't wait to get started!

Not a huge fan of the Disney version.. but not opposed. I love Rackham, Tennel (classic).. there are TONS of illustrators.. I'm hoping people have fun with this!!

My fav scene from the book/film is the Mad Hatters Tea Party. Would love to receive at least 1 of the atc's inspired by that :)

I would prefer the older Lewis Carroll version, but I can make either for my partner and I can draw should I get someone who prefers that as well, not saying I am great but I will do my best at drawing! I am very excited for this swap!

I'd like to join this swap as I love "Alice in Wonderland", but I mostly do collage ATC's. Doesn't sound like they would be welcome in this swap??

Unfortunately Iamthelolrus is only 16, and has been partially suspended. He tried to sign up for one of my swaps and I found out he was underage...

Oh, charlotte, from what I understand, you can collage, this isn't a hand drawn only swap, it's just one or two people said that they really like hand drawn stuff and would prefer it, but it is not listed as a require for the swap. But check with the host to make sure, it's not my swap so I would hate to speak out of turn.

Thanks NaughtyElf for answering that. You can use any technique for making these ATCs as long as it isn't just putting a sticker on a piece of cardboard and calling that it.

I would prefer a carroll inspired ATC.and I love the chesire cat!

I prefer a Caroll, or one of the darker incarnations, such as American McGee's, though I just really love the story in general, so it doesn't much matter to me. :)

i wonder if anyone else knows this. there is a new ALICE IN WONDERLAND coming out march of next year, Starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, and Tim Burtons directing

Oh yeah I also like McGee too! gothic/dark is always good for me!

I enjoy the old Tenniel illustrations the most, but anything is fine! ^_^
