Photography from Profile

Hello! I have never done a photography swap before but I could not find any active swaps currently so I decided to create one. Besides this is new for me, I am very open to any suggestions and criticism.

Swap Directions: For this swap, you will read your partner’s profile carefully to learn more about them. You should read what they like, their hobbies, etc. Then you will have 2 weeks to go out and take a photo that you think matches something about them. This can be something you saw in nature, around your city/town, or an organized photo shoot with objects. Really, it doesn’t matter how or where you take the photo. Then, you will email this photo to your swap partner with a message saying what in their profile made you take this photo. Include as many details as you can about what is in the photo, where it was taken (if its nature or city/town). You do not need a fancy camera for this swap, you can take this photo on your phone. That being said, this must be a photo YOU TAKE and NOT from google or someone else on the internet.

I would recommend messaging your partner on Swapbot after you have emailed your photo to make sure they can find your email :)

The goal of this swap is to practice photography so this should be a new photo you take specifically for this swap.

Swapper Requirements:

I will be checking profiles to make sure there are enough details for your partner to be able to complete this swap.

If there is enough interest in this swap, I hope to create a beginners photography series to get us out in the world and practicing photography.
