Everyone did such a great job on the last swap, I decided to post this one again!! Whether you are new to zines or a pro, this is a swap to share your unique mini-zine and also send each other your comments. (Keep in mind ratings are only for the finished product, not necessarily for quality or craftsmanship!) This is a great way to start out if you are new to this or help each other with ideas and tips. In this swap you will create a mini-zine (1 page folded into 8 mini-pages) and send to 5 partners. Can be color or black-and-white, pics or text, whatever you like! Format is also your choice - make it unique to you!! Journal style, mini-articles, photos, recipes, news, opinions, absolutely anything goes!! Newbies are welcome, we all had to start somewhere!! WOw this is a great swap, I really wanna join, but think the deadline is very short. Also I see the template, but dont understand how to actually make the zine like that...on the computer??

yeah it's a word document, when you open it you can go to View > Normal to type any text/etc you would like, then View>Print to see how it will look printed. the link above also shows how to fold and cut it to get your finished product :) very easy to make, and fun! :D you can also leave some of the "pages" blank to write or draw on, and just make copies! some people will just print the template and cut/paste items on and make copies from there. the possibilities are endless!!

I saw this yesterday, and thought I'd join, but I decided too late. I do think the time line was way to short, especially for those of are zine newbies. I'll have to go ahead and make one, and see how it turns out then I'll have one ready for the next swap!
