Elegant Georgian Shoe Journal Card

Dear Ladies,

Let us construct a pretty little journal card to record our thoughts on. What a lovely addition it will make to our journals. This card shall be shaped like an elegant Georgian shoe. The front of the card shall be decorated as you like, using lace, sequins, fabric and what ever you need to make it look stylish. The back of the card shall have space to record recollections of your day.

To give the finer details, This shoe shaped card made in a horazontal orientation, shall be at least 5 inches (13 cm) in width and 3 inches (7.5 cm) in height. You may also construct it in a vertical view, making the height 5 inches and the width 3 inches. The front shall be decorated to look like a shoe of the 18th Century, which may be as artistic as you like as long as the colours and materials you use coincide with those of the Georgians. On the reverse of your “shoe” there should be enough space to write a few short sentences. We will have one partner for this swap and to ensure it is not too bulky, there is no need to add a paperclip, unless you want to. When your shoe is finished, add a note to your partner, perhaps telling of this shoe, whether it is something you own, something you covet, or even something you have designed for yourself. This swap is sender's choice, so you may begin creating your shoe when you sign up.
