Welcome to the first annual ATC Secret Santa Swap! This swap is USA regional only for the ease of it, but if you would like an international swap please message me. Concept: You will send a flat mail envelope with a nice Christmas card and greeting along with your ATC. When you have received your mail place it under your tree or in your stocking and open it on whatever day you open presents! For the safety of the letter please include your return mailing address inside the package and the swap information outside of the mail. While a follow up letter is not required it is nice to send a thank you note and good wishes. An artist trading card (or ATC for short) is a small, original piece of art created with the intention of swapping or trading it with another artist. The one rule an artist trading card must adhere to is the size 2.5" x 3.5". The front of an ATC, is where the artist creates an original work to showcase their art. The back of an ATC is where the artist puts their name, contact details, title of the ATC, & the date it was created. Artist trading cards can be made in any media including DRY MEDIA (pencils, pens, markers, etc), WET MEDIA (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc), PAPER MEDIA (collage paper, ephemera, etc.) or MIXED MEDIA (a combination of 2 or more of the medias listed above). ATC's should be flat enough to fit inside a protective sleeve, therefore dimensional embellishments should be kept to a minimum. You can buy packs of plastic trading card sleeves, cut individual sleeves from a 9 pocket trading card page, make your own out of paper, a small envelope, plastic baggie, library pocket, etc. ATC's should have a sturdy backing. You can use cardstock, a playing card, paper board cut from a cereal box or other product packaging, mail flyers, etc. Do a search on YouTube, Google, or Pinterest for "Artist Trading Cards" & you will find a bunch of information & examples. Requirements: A filled out profile with your likes and dislikes No recent unexplained 1-3 ratings. I will be checking before randomly assigning the partner. I will angel if necessary, please contact your swap partner before requesting an angel. If you need more information about this swap comment your questions below! Happy swapping |
