OH MY GOSH, AZMOM875! You have a kewl mess. LOL

AZmom875 09/ 7/2021 #

@kittyhahahotbot I like the positive spin you put on my issues. KEWL MESS.

I blame the Friends of the Library book sale area. It calls to me. I would snatch up the foreign language books for a quarter. It is right there as you exit the library. "Come to me, You need more books."

AZ mom875, you do have some really great items - a 1933 mystery, magic & medicine book are you tossing it??? I will have books, I have many quilt books (that I don't plan to use) - old books from the library sale - a dictionary - old magazine from the '20's (used some of the sheets) Folder full of odds & ends of paper from magazines (for collages) - a box full of cut out single words - Hard back Reader's Digest "In Search of Western Europe"- " into the Hidden Environment" 1972 Hardback - may toss some of my old books/pamphlets on religion - sending many books I have read back to our thrift center....

I am sorry I got carried away with the declutter and didn't answer the questions....... #1 I found some books with pages I had glued together to make junk/art journals, just forgotten them - #2 I answered above, most will go to the thrift center - # 3 I have at least 100 books all in the English language. Many are mystery books by different authors ( collect some James Patterson) - poetry - many religious books(about saints, daily reading, etc.) - some about the area I live - Inspiritual books - a few Christmas story books - some very old books, I just can't part with.....

AZmom875 09/ 8/2021 #

@Jjean oh yes, I am keeping the old book. Everything listed below the keeping the journals, is also stuff I am keeping.

Hmmm, this seem like 2 different decluttering projects. The hubby and I have way too many books but we often trade in books to The Strand Book store for store credit, so there is also always a big turnaround of reading materials around here. I did not do a declutter of these.

For crafting, I have been able to get books out of recycle bins from a used book store in Rockville MD. We go there a few times and year and they let me pick through their bins of discards for textbooks, dictionaries, destroyed books. These I will craft with and swap with others. They are piled up everywhere in my craft area, mostly in hiding places but I am starting to run out of room. I was able to discard a few that were to dried out to craft with and I had a few that were traded in.

AZmom875, if it is just you and I for this swap, I'd be fine with not receiving anything for this swap. Thank you so much for hosting, it is fun to do these challenges
