Description: | |
This is a super easy swap. I recently received this cool Puzzle and Logic book that revolves around Alice In Wonderland. I thought it would be fun to create a EASY swap around it. You will not have to email or snail mail anything out to your partners. All you have to do is read the puzzle below and then leave a comment with your answer. Simple as that. ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` UPDATE: I'm taking all the two comments stuff out. Now you only have to comment your answer. It was too much running around back and forth. I want this to be a fun swap. `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` The day your partners are assigned you will simply come back to this swap and hit F3 and search for your partner's name. ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` If they commented a answer then give them a 5β₯. Simple as that :) ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` After the swap is assigned I will email everyone the answer to the riddle!! ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` NOW ON TO THE RIDDLE: ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` TIME FOR WONDERLAND One fine day, Alice was lying on the riverbank, idly picking daisies with the intention of chaining them together, when she heard a small, squeaky, and rather panicked voice. "Oh dear!", it said. "I'm going to be late!" Alice turned to find the source of the voice, hoping to perhaps offer some words of assurance. To her great surprise it was coming from a White Rabbit, who was hurrying past her and checking his pocket watch with what seemed to Alice to be an unnecessary frequency. "Excuse me," she said, not altogether sure of the proper way to address a rabbit with a pocket watch. "What is it?", the Rabbit answered irritably. "Can't you see I'm in a rush?" "I'm sorry," replied Alice. "But I just wondered whether I might be able to help you." The Rabbits' frown softened, or so she fancied. "Can you tell me the time? My pocket watch takes on 5 minutes for every hour, and I haven't reset it since 8 p.m. yesterday evening." Alice didn't have a pocket watch of her own, but she thought she might be able to help the rabbit anyway. "What time does your pocket watch say it is now?" she asked. "Twelve twenty-eight," the rabbit told her. WHAT TIME DID THAT MEAN IT REALLY WAS? ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` FOR THOSE THAT GET ME AS THEIR PARTNER, I KNOW THE ANSWER SO I WON'T COMMENT THE ANSWER THAT WOULD RUIN THE FUN OF THE SWAP. INSTEAD I WILL POST THE NAME OF THE BOOK AND THE AUTHOR. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS WHEN RATING ME AND DON'T GIVE ME A THREE. HAHAHAHA. |
