FJPP: Altered File Folder

I use manila file folders a lot around my craft room to sort projects, printables, scrap papers and swaps. It would be nice, instead of seeing the same plain manila all the time, to see something more creative.

For this swap we will be taking a letter size manila file folder and decorating it on the outside, front and back. Treat it like an inspiration board; collage it with images, add paint layers, draw - all keeping within the style of the group.

When you're done, you'll send the made over file folder flat in a large envelope. Your partner will then be able to use their new file folder as colorful storage in their artspace.

Expect more file folder swaps in the future. I scored a brand new box full at Goodwill for $4 recently. :)
