IPC: Mixed Media Book Page

For this swap, we will be using a variety of mixed media products and techniques to create one decorated book page for our partner.

The idea is that our swap partner can easily add the page to her own altered book or journal.

Start with a book page that is approx. 4x6". It does not have to be exact! A bit larger or smaller is fine.

You are free to double the pages or glue your book page down on cardstock for strength and stability if your page is really thin.

This is where the fun starts! Some ideas for your page:

• collage
• ephemera
• paint
• inks
• stains
• watercolor
• stencils
• rubber stamping
• mark making
• gesso
• splattering
• pencils
• torn papers
• image/photo
• machine or hand stitching
• washi/masking tape
• words or sentiment

You don't need to be an artist. You just need a desire to create and explore. Just take the time to create something for your partner that you are proud of. This is really meant to be loose and relaxing, so please don't stress :)
