Hi Lovely Witches, Beltane is approaching, and I have a crazy idea for another magic yarn ball swap. I misunderstood Oreon's last yarn ball swap and thought "Dirty Santa" meant, well, the kind of Santa we have in our pagan household. The kind that puts flavored lube in your stocking. Oreon liked the idea and asked me to host a magic Beltane yarn ball swap for those who really like to dance around the Maypole. So, here it is. This swap requires a witch to gather at least 10 small and sexy goodies. This might include but would not be limited to: aphrodisiac oils and/or potions, sexy jewelry, glow-in-the-dark condoms, handcrafted lingerie, body paint, herbal or chocolate kitchen witchery, or the aforementioned flavored lube. Really, your imagination (and postal regulations regarding obscene materials) are the only limits. I, for one, am just dying to knit a g-string out of silk. When you've gathered your booty, purchase a skein of nice quality LYS yarn in your partner's preferred weight and color, invoke your favorite love gods, and wind the lot up in a barely contained ball of lusty magic. They say the treasures fall out as you craft, but I can never wait long enough to find out. Handcrafted is fine, just use your partner's profile as a guide to preferences. Also, if anyone has allergies, special requests or kindly prohibitions, please say so on the swap page. Obviously, this swap assumes that witches are, by nature, bawdy, wicked types. If you've never been in a sex shop, this might not be the swap for you. Or just the excuse you've been looking for. Members in good standing, only. If there is a past issue unresolved, I will ban ...please don't join if you don't plan to send...or if you know you are over-extended, don't add one more. I am so excited; I can hardly wait.

Awesomely cool idea! I may borrow the yarn ball idea for my Beltane swap if that's ok. It'll be a totally G rated one though because I've some shy folks in my group. LOL

Oh, this looks like so much fun ;-) I think I'll have to try this yarn ball thing...just a note, if anyone reads these...any good sexually charged things would be great for me since I have a wonderful lusty Italian husband, but my hormones are totally screwed up (no sex drive most of the time)

LYS means local yarn shop. Specifically yarn from large chain stores like JoAnn or Wal-Mart would not be appropriate for this swap.

Hi Girls. I should have said this before the deadline, BUT better late than never. It occurs to me that we should all feel free to modify the number of small items included in the yarn ball in order for price to not get too out of hand. For instance, if you include an item that is obviously more valuable tahna your usual 1 in 10 small treats, then value it as such. Count it as 3 or 5. What's important is puttiing thought and care into the items. Does that sit well with you all? Or does it make rating too confusing? With 4 straight 5ers, I think we can manage it, but speak up if you disagree.
