Found Image Postcard - INTL

One ‘found image’ postcard to one Partner.

This is an international swap. A USA only version is also posted.

Simply find an image that you think your Partner will like and glue it to a backing to make it sturdy enough to mail. Put the name of the swap and your swap-bot user name on the back, along with a stamp and your Partner’s address, and mail it off naked. I also like to put a title, the source of the picture, and a short note on the back as well.

The postcard should be made of a single image, that you found in a book, magazine, brochure, etc. with no other embellishments. It is not a collage and no stickers, decorative tape, or artwork should be used.

Taking a look at your Partner’s Profile could help you select a good picture for them. I find the best sources for photos are books. I get damaged books from my library and other sources and give them another chance at life by reusing their photos.

Minimum rating to join is 4.8 but this swap is open to newbies.

I am calling this swap a type 3. There is not a lot of work involved in the making of the postcard itself, but I have been known to spend a great deal of time selecting an appropriate picture.
