Hi swappers! For this swap, we'll be following Wendy's tutorial, found HERE to create a set of 3 layered snippets for our partners. You may certainly make a snippet strip and cut the snippets apart, or you can compose your snippets individually--whichever you like. Let's agree that each snippet will contain:
Your snippets should measure at least 1"x2"; larger is fine. As Wendy suggests, the larger pieces can be used as tuck spots. Wendy uses glue to 'tack' her pieces and then sews them together. You may do the same or simply glue all pieces. My sewing machine needle does not like running through glue; the needle gets sticky and it tends to skip stitches. Sewing/gluing or a combo of both is fine. Hope you'll join me; these are such fun to make! |
