Godzilla vs King Kong Movie Marathon Challenge

Are you a fan of the great lizard god or the mighty monkey king? Did you grow up watching these on Sunday afternoons on your local TV station? Or were you introduced to them with all the shiny new remakes? Either way, you know a good thing when you see it!

In anticipation of the new Godzilla vs King Kong movie, being released March 31st, I invite you to join me in an atomic sized movie marathon. Let's get ready for the match of the year by paying tribute to the legacy.

Swap Details

• Watch at least 4 movies from the list below - You can start anytime. No need to wait until partners are assigned. Start the fun whenever you like. But seriously, watch them. Even if you've seen them before this swap is about watching the movies now.

• Send your partner your movie answers - Write or print out the questions below. Answer all of the questions for each movie watched. However many movies you decided to watch you will answer all of the questions for each one. Give more than a one or two sentence answer. Take the time to talk to your partner. When you are done send your answers to your partner.

• Optional but highly recommend - Add some Godzilla and King Kong somewhere in/on your mailing. Decorate the outside of the package or the paper you send your answers on. Doodles, stickers, postcard, printouts, coloring sheet, etc. Be creative. Add a little fun.

• But wait! There's More!(Optional) - Do you have what it takes to watch them all??? Make it through all the films and you will be rewarded!!! Here's what you need to do...

  1) Fulfill all requirements listed above for the partner assigned to you.

  2) Watch ALL of the movies on the list. Again, you need to actually watch them.

  3) Send the questions and your answers for ALL of the movies to me. Just message me once you're ready and I'll give you my address. If you would like me to send you mine I happily will.

  4) Once I receive your letter I will send you a special themed package of goodies. This will probably be simple things like postcards, stickers, coloring/activity sheets, or any other similar things I can find. It really depends on how many people complete this part as to how fancy the packages get. But you never know what I might find to ad to it.

  5) The first 4 people I receive letters from completing the entire list will receive a themed Achievement Patch in their package. Real patches, just like the Scouts, donning one of the big guys... or maybe both???

This is the list of movies and where you can currently find them (as of February 3rd). HBO Max is obviously the one that currently has the rights to most. They offer a 7 day free trial and, if you use a different email, you can get the trial over again. Just saying. Or a month is $14.99. Not a bad price for so many movies including the brand new one. Most can probably be rented too. And remember, Netflix still has DVDs by mail and they still give a free month trial (as long as you haven't had it for awhile).
