Painted Ladies

This is a 2/2 swap were we will create ATC’s featuring ladies from old painted photographs.

Old tinted or colorized photographs were popular before the invention of color film. Paint was manually added to monochrome photographs, and the so-called golden age of hand-colored photography in the western hemisphere, occurred between 1900 and 1940.

While there are many old photographs colorized using modern photo shop techniques. This swap will focus on the old, hand tinted, photographs. Search for some lovely painted ladies to grace a standard ATC. You will use a firm matt or illustration board that measures 3.5" x 2.5”. Remember to decorate the back of your ATC and include your name, the date and the name of this swap for your partners. You will create 2 ATCs and get 2 in return
