'Amelie' Craft Swap

If you've seen 'Amelie' you probably love it. It's undeniable - this film is beautiful, and everything a film should be.

I thought it would be fun to craft a few items in the films honor, so that we may always have a piece of something beautiful around us! Now, because the crafting possibilities are endless, I've created a list. Please, if you can think of anything else that could make an interesting Amelie piece, leave a comment and I might add it to the list! You do NOT have to craft everything on this list, but you must pick at least 3 items. As well as the 3 items (at least) you must send your partner a letter. Include in the letter some of the unique, little things that make you happy and what you would put in your own little tin (Remember Dominique Bretodeau's tin?)

These items must be at least 50% handmade. If you are buying some of your items, please make sure they keep in with the theme of the swap.

1. A set of 5 Postcards
2. A decorated Notebook/Journal
3. A mix cd with music you find inspiring - Consider the video Amelie makes for Dufayel.
4. Whimsy Jar - Size is up to you, but consider the whimsical box Amelie finds.
5. Set of 3 magnets
6. Decorated trinket box - Again, size is up to you.
7. Set of 2 ATCs
8. 3 bookmarks

Be creative! Just because the swap is in honor of 'Amelie' it does not mean you have to have her face on every single piece. Use colors, quotes, any inspiration you find from the film! If there is one thing on the list you would really not like to receive, leave a comment. Partners, remember to check the comments before you begin crafting to make sure you won't be making something your partner would not want. Consider hearts for paying attention to profiles, and personal details!
