YTPC: Vellum Picture Pockets

Hi swappers!

Let's follow THIS tutorial to create 2 vellum picture pockets for our partners.

The tutorial for the pockets you'll be creating begins around 13.5 minutes; we're not going to make the sideways-sew-onto-the-page pockets featured first in the tutorial.

You will not need to download the template to finish your pockets. Your finished pockets should measure approximately 3.5"x3'5"; a bit larger or smaller is fine.

The images you choose to feature in your pockets should have plain-ish paper on the back for notes/journaling.

It's great to machine sew on your pockets if you have a machine; if not, no problems. You'll still be able to affix the little closure at the bottom with glue or hand-stitching. If you DO use your sewing machine, it's not a requirement to fuss with pulling the stitches through to the back and tying them off. Leave the threads hanging, cut them off, or fuss with tying them off--whatever your style might be.

If you don't have vellum, you can use tracing paper or acetate for a clear pocket. Some of the cello bags are sturdy enough. If you don't have any of those, use cereal bag liners as we did in another swap.
