Poem Based on Nursery Rhyme Character

We all know many, many Nursery Rhymes -- we may feel as if we've lived with Mary and her little lamb, or have been Mary, Quite Contrary, etc, etc, etc. all our life. So let's have a little fun writing a nursery rhyme about or in the voice of a nursery rhyme character. Whatever poetic style you chose, rhyming or not. But at least six lines long.

Include the original rhyme -- some are different in different countries.
