Hi. I think this is a FIRST here on Swapbot! I love Pocket Letters but they are too time-consuming! Even the smaller 3-pocket ones take too much time and product. With family and my life I just can't commit to them....BUT I make inchies and went to a coin store and found the smallest clear pockets single and attached to others. Some photo albums like for instagrams are tiny. Cut them. I invite you to the quickest baby pocket letter swap by asking you to send something small. You must send your partner 2 or 3 little clear pockets...separate or attached. They must be SMALLER than Artist Trading Card size [2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches] Smaller preferred. Consider cutting one in half! Fill one pocket with tiny items they can use on small projects like on inchies or twinchies or ATCs. 5 items minimum. Examples: ribbon, cancelled postage stamps, rubber stamped mini images, embellishments such as epoxy gems or srtickers. Tiny rules! Fill out one or two more with a note or a finished mini item. A 2 inch by 1 inch paper folded cardstock is a tiny card! The name of the game here is quick and fun. You must rate a 5 if you get at least 2 pockets. Theme is relating to Nov-January so cold, snow, Christmas, New Year, frost, hot Cocoa.......what pops into your head? Everyone welcome. Probably best to use a padded envelope so nothing gets squashed or ruined. We will make it quick. Just do it and you will be glad you did. I would prefer if you would take a photo of yours if you can and e-mail it to me golfchak@comcast.net but not a requirement. Come have fun.

I'm in Australia and don't have access to the clear pouches you're talking about, could i make mine out of paper? Also is it okay if I decorate mine using a summer theme as Christmas in Australia is mid summer!

Because I have never heard of this kind of a swap before I am making it open and easy. Use what you have. You could use paper or small envelopes or something made from vellum. Have some kind of POCKET to hold small items. Sorry I did not think of seasons across the globe. Whatever is happening for you weatherwise is fine. Come play with us.

Feet in the soil: I do hope more will join us. I really love the original Pocket Letters but my life does not allow me to spend so much time and product and give it away to a stranger. I would do it for a family member and make it for a special occasion. The smaller option others have offered by taking a clear ATC holder of three portions [8 1/2 inches by 11 inches] and cutting it down to one row of 8 inches by 3 3/4 in equal sections is still a daunting task. Take into account they want a letter and each section fill to brimming with items makes that a big challenge. I just thought I love small things and thought this would be fast and fun and adorable. Hopefully, the 8 watchers may dive in by Sunday. Let's hope. I realize we are suggesting something new here. luckylynnl

I have always loved small things myself. Recently for a friend's birthday I made a 2cmX2cmX2cm box and filled it with teeeny tiny gemstones for them and tied it up with very fine string, it ended up smaller than the inch miniature gift ornaments you used to see on Christmas trees sometimes, but it was a real gift and could be opened and used!
