Description:

Free Theme Artist Trading Card! You can create any theme you want so go wild and have fun. Let your creative juices flow.

Before joining this swap please read:

Your personal profile should be completed so your partner knows how to customize your ATC. Be detailed as much as possible as going forward even if you are in the group we will not allow you to swap unless its filled out.

What is an ATC? Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5".

What to include in your ATC Card? Usually each ATC backing has the following information: 1. Artist Name and User Name. 2. Swap Title. 3. Title of your piece (optional). 4. Date it was created. 5. Number card 1 of _? if it is a series you created.

What are ATC made from? Card stock, playing cards (same dimensions required for an ATC), mixed media, etc. Each ATC should be STURDY and not easily bent.

What should i put on my ATC? The sky is the limit. Just don't slap stickers or stamps and call it a day. You need to personalize it with your style of crafting. Mediums to use: paint, paper, stickers, drawings, fabric, hand written letters, print outs, string, glitter, news paper, book pages, poetry, and more.

When do I mail my ATC? Before the swap deadline. Please wrap carefully as to prevent your crafts from becoming damaged in the mail. Any late swaps or no shows will be rated 1 and unable to swap again in the group.

I got my ATC card now what? So you received your card great! Thank the person who sent it. If they did an awesome job rate them a 5 rating. If you loved it send a heart and give a star to the coordinator if you enjoyed the swap.

What to know about ratings... Know that most swaps on the site only allow an average rating of high 4's and higher. Each time you join a swap you are rated 1-5. 5 is the highest rating you can get. 1's are easily obtained for not following swap directions, sending late swaps, or not sending one at all. 2's and 3's vary for similar reasons or not trying (slapping stickers or stamping a card only). You can use stickers, stamps and etc but as accents not as the main focus. So make sure to read carefully on the swap description to avoid 3's and lower. Do not rate 3-1 if you dont like what you got. If your partner sent what they were supposed and it looks like they spent time, money, and energy on your swap still give a 5 rating. We all have different types of art styles.

If you have an issue with your swap contact an admin but know we will not angel (send out a replacement) if your partner does not send a card.

Got questions? Contact an admin for help. Have fun!

Thanks.
