YTPC: Hearts & Flowers

Hi swappers!

For this swap, we'll be following Gi Kerr's tutorial found HERE to create 3 journal spots for our partners.

Although Gi doesn't provide visual instructions on how to create the larger heart that folds out, it looks very simple to create.

You'll create:

• a 3" square (not an entire journal page) with a diagonal piece and a small heart/flower insert under the diagonal.

• a 4-heart fold-out flower with a circular center (this one is shown in detail in the video)

• a larger heart/flower fold-out that fits into a slot created from 2 narrow strips of paper (one larger than the other) and held together at the ends with 2 decorative brads.

Gi uses a sort of grungy, neutral palette; you may certainly create with colors if you like, or mix it up and make each of the 3 pieces in a different style.

That's it; three simple folded pieces to add to our journals!
