I have hosted this in the past, and It is time to use up those stamps you have been saving. I will do a more in this series with other themes.

For this swap you will create 3 different atcs to one partner using cancelled/ used postage stamps that fit the theme: Oceans

One card Under the water (animals/fish)

one card on the water ( a boat or ship)

one card near the water, (lighthouse or beach)

This is an International swap. . See group for USA onlyswap.

Please make sure you use a firm backing on your cards.

Just in case you wonder, yes you can extend the scene, or add zentangles. But since a postage stamps is required this is obviously going to be a multi media atc. Do you best work, add a few layers.

Note to USA players, if you participate in both swaps, and on the rare instance you get the same USA player in both. You can mail together, but you do need to make your partner 6 different cards. Keep that in mind, esp if you are making cards ahead. It does happen at times.

Hi @AZmom875 I am gathering up my stamps for this Ocean fun ATC swap. You know I couldn’t miss out on this. 🤗 I have my under water, on water, but I’m struggling a little with near water, which brought me to this question. Does sea shells count for the near water? Does it have to be exactly what you listed as the examples or anything that pertains to that? I wanted to ask these questions here and not pm you in case others were wondering the same thing. So if someone has a stamp of a surfer they can use that for on the water? I believe these questions will also help with rating also. Everyone doesn’t always think outside the box...lol. Thanks so much! I can’t wait to see what I’ll be getting from my partner. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

My brain could only come up with a lighthouse, as NEAR water. So glad you could think of more ideas. and thanks for the PM or I might not have see the comment.

I really am going for using your postage stamps, as you see, it fits the theme. It is senders/artists choice.

My main goal with this swap and more to come is to use some postage stamps in my art. I have too many saved and need to use them more.

Kianna, sent a pm asking a very good question that might interest you all.

Does is have to be used/cancelled stamps or can I also use an uncancelled stamp that I took of an enveloppe?

My answer

They should be real stamps, but if it didnt get canceled, I would not worry about it too much. I own some rubber stamps that look like postmarks. I sometimes stamp over a that area. Do you even own a rubber stamp like that?

It’s always such a shame that we can not see the cards that everybody made, I would love to see everybodys creations 😊
