Binder Trading Card

This is an open-themed swap for 1 Binder Trading Card. These are exactly the same as an ATC except that the size is 1.75x3.5” and are decorated on both sides. With the popularity of ATC coins and tags, I felt it was time to bring back these beauties. This will become a series if there is interest.

They also typically have a hole in one of the top corners so they can be hung on a ring or ribbon. It is common to exceed the boundaries of the base especially on the sides (top and bottom if in landscape orientation) as then these will still fit in a standard plastic pouch.

As they are not usually stored in a binder, feel free to make these as dimensional as your creativity and postal budget allow! If you wish, you can add your name like you’d sign art or leave a small area at the bottom unglued with your typical ATC info underneath. Just make sure the layer above is flexible enough for it to be lifted up so it can be read. Or incorporate a small flip up panel into your card with the info underneath.

*Please include a minimum of 4 layers and/or embellishments per side. ‘Layers’ can be layers of paper, paint, stamping etc. but does NOT include the backing. Hand-drawn or hand-painted BTCs are exempt. This is just to make sure that no one sends a very plain, boring BTC. Let’s make these fancy and fun!

*no teacher/reward stickers, pixelated computer printouts or magazine pages (unless significantly and beautifully altered).

*make something lovely you’d be proud to receive and wish you could keep for yourself!

*this is sender’s choice but please respect your partner’s dislikes for instance, don’t add bugs if they hate them or themes they don’t like.

*please have no recents 3s or any 1s without a good explanation in the comments of that swap or send me a note first.

*Please consider hearts for your partner if they made a really nice Card. Extras are not the only reason to give hearts.
