Description:

Hello all! Welcome to the Journal Swap!

Here's how this swap works. Get some kind of journal like a composition book or other journal and fill it out over a month. You can make a journal or do a junk journal. I do not have a size requirement. Use your best judgment that you can send a nice and journal that is worth your partner's time. Try to stay away from smaller journals like pocket journals (a journal that can fit in the back pocket of your jeans).

You can do whatever you want in it just make sure you fill it with stories, journal entries, collages, art, recipes, whatever you want. Your goal should be to fill a page or pages every day. Do not join this swap unless you can commit to at least doing an entry every couple of days, preferably every day but we all know life happens.

IMPORTANT: Each entry should be something of substance. A few stickers on a page doesn't count. A FEW SENTENCES ON A PAGE AND NOTHING ELSE DOES NOT COUNT! Please put some thought and work into this so that your partner receives something that they will enjoy. Do not send a journal you have made previously and only join this swap if you can commit yourself to it throughout the month.

This swap will start on September 1st and end on September 30th. So you should fill up the journal throughout September and mail it by October 7th.

Since this is a long-term swap, I am not opening it to anyone with 3 or 1 rating within the last 6 months. (If you would like to be considered please message me with details on a low rating.) Also, no newbies. You must have participated in at least five other type 3 swaps.

Keep in mind that you want a nice, well thought out journal and full journal in this swap so don't send anything less than that out. When you receive your journal, rate it on how well it is filled out, not necessarily if what is in it is completely tailored to your tastes. However, when putting your journal together it would be considerate to at least make it somewhat enjoyable for your partner.

Flaking leaves someone without a journal when they have put the time and effort into creating a journal for someone else. To cut down on flakers, I will be messaging each participant the week before the swap as a reminder. I will be removing anyone that does not respond to my message or hasn't logged onto the website recently. I do angel this swap but it takes a lot of time so let's just make sure everyone participates! So keep an eye out for my message. Anyone who does not respond by the time the swap starts will be removed.

If something does happen and you are unable to finish or have a chunk of time missing, be prepared to send what you have and get in touch with your partner to work it out. Please let me know as well.

Any questions, message me!

No bullying. If you have a concern about something IN THIS SWAP, please message me.

Everyone should be done or wrapping up their journals. Get ready to send them.

Just so people know, you should not be sending your journal before the end of the month because you should be working on it until the 30th.
