LGBTQ History Month Note Card

As we are nearing the end of LGBTQ history month (established in the USA in 1994) I thought it would be fun to host a small, quick, and easy swap for those of us aligned with the LGBTQ community or allies to send some LGBTQ positivity to our mailboxes!

For this swap you will have one partner to send one note card to in which you will write about you favorite LGBTQ piece of history, be it an event, book, movie, or historical person. If you would like you can even share a little about your journey in the LGBTQ community.

To brighten up the note card add some rainbows, Pride ephemera if you have it, a positive & affirming quote, a unicorn - show off some of your beautiful colors!

In short the swap requirements are as follows:

• This is a newbie friendly swap, however I reserve the right to ban people based on my own discretion
• NO recent 1s & 3s without an explanation
• I will angel this swap after you have rated your partner a ONE
• You will have 1 partner who you will send 1 note card
• Write about your favorite piece of LGBTQ history
• Optional: Write a little bit about your journey in the LGBTQ community (if applicable)
• Add some color or fun! It can be a drawing of a rainbow inside the note card, a cute rainbow tattoo you got at a Pride festival, a positive & affirming quote about the LGBTQ experience, add some love!
• This is an international swap - DO NOT add the name of the swap to the outside of the envelope as to avoid accidental outing of your partner in case they live in a hostile environment
