The Great American Read

Vote for your favorite book on The Great American Read (http://www.pbs.org/the-great-american-read/vote/) and send your partner a letter or notecard about the book you chose. When the full series of The Great American Read launches on September 11, 2018, they’ll launch toll-free voting for your favorite book also, alongside the existing online voting. All voting methods will close on October 18, 2018 at midnight PT. They will announce The Great American Read winner in the Grand Finale show. The send deadline for this swap will be after voting closes, but try to send it as early as possible. Letters may be typed or handwritten, notecards may be store bought or handmade, if they are not the bifold kind, you must write on both sides of the notecard (these tend to to look like decortative index cards.) Extras are not required. Write about the book you voted for and why, and if your favorite book wasn't on the list, mention that too. Please send and rate on time. This swap is newbie friendly if you have received three 5 ratings in any category. I have made this a Type 3 swap due to having to go to the PBS website and scroll through the long list of books and vote.
