JJJ: Gel Printed Mini Journal

Recently Birgit Koopsen demonstrated how to use your gel printed papers to make a journal. She uses card stock and prints on one side only. She folds the prints with the art on the inside and tapes the pages together to create journals with 20 or more pages.

Make a small (5" by 7" or smaller - you can cut 8.5" by 11" paper in half or use 4" by 6" index cards) journal with at least 12 - 15 gel prints. Use your stencils, foam stamps and other favorite gel printing techniques (I love to use thread and yarn, bubble wrap, and ripped strips of paper).

You can bind the journal in the style that Birgit Koopsen demonstrates or another method that you prefer. Take a favorite print to use as the cover (watch the video to see how to do this.)

One journal with 12 - 15 pages, a printed cover and your choice of binding. Cover the spine with duct tape or sports tape or gel-printed fabric.
