Ostara is March 22nd, 2009. Easter is April 4th, 2009. EDITED: I was asked if 18 cm was an okay size for an egg--the answer is, that's wayyyyy too big! :) Our (USA) eggs are about 9 cm tall and about 5 or 6 cm wide. Think about the size of an ATC (if you make those). Very small egg--like a real chicken's egg that hasn't hatched. About that size. We want it small so that it is a challenge to see how much you can stuff into it. :) I hope that gives you an idea. They look similar to this: As for it being metal or paper, that is okay, as long as you package it well enough for it to travel all the way to the States or overseas (depending on where your partner is) safely. :) BE SURE TO STUFF YOUR EGG AS FULL AS YOU CAN, AND DON'T FORGET TO DECORATE THE OUTSIDE OF THE EGG TOO!This one's an easy one! Take a plastic egg (the standard size--maybe about the size of a Kinderegg for my international friends, not too teeny, not too large) and fill it with things relative to your partner's profile, or what you know about them from chatting with them in the Attic! Make sure you decorate the outside of the egg as well! The idea is to keep it small to keep postage costs down, so that everyone who wants to can participate! :) Examples are:
Okay, I think you get the idea! You'll have 2 partners. I've set the send-by date early enough (hopefully) that our international partners will receive theirs by Easter/Ostara. As always, if you've got questions, just ask! this swap will be cancelled if less than 3 people sign up |
