Thanks @perkl8r ..... Glad to see you like the swap! It will go on for quite some time at least until we have enuf to do a throw size quilt! Got a question for you since you were the inspiration for starting another string quilt swap.....How do you connect your blocks? Do you add batting and backing to each block then quilt and then join together with sashing or some other way?

Well, the last one I made I had so much fun arranging the blocks first - then I sewed them together and just like I do most of my regular quilts I added batting and backing after the top was completed. I am working on adding to my stash of 6 1/2 inch Heartstring quilt blocks too. I will probably hold off hosting any more of the heartstrings swaps until later this year. thank you again for hosting these 8 1/2 inch blocks. Since these blocks are 2 inches bigger should make the gathering process go faster!
