Description: | |
This is a simple swap that should be easy and fun. Find a photo, sketch or drawing in a magazine or in a book or newspaper. Cut the image out a little bigger than needed and carefully glue to a piece of light-colored cardstock. Then cut the whole thing out with a paper or photo cutter. Edges should be neat. Turn the paper over and create a postcard on the back. Rubber Stamp or write the word POSTCARD at the top center of the back. A Marker is good for this. Draw a line down the center just like a purchased postcard has. The left side is for a message. The right side is for the address of your swap partner. You will have one partner. For a small postcard 3 1/2 by 5 inches up to 41/4 by 6 inches you only need one postcard stamp that costs 35 cents. Larger sizes measuring over 4 1/2 by 6 inches up to 6 1/8 inches high to 11 1/2 inches long will require the rate of a letter or 50 cents. That's one Forever stamp. [You can print your name and address along the left side of the postcard vertically from bottom to top still allowing room for a message.] Somewhere you should draw a box saying Swapbot Found Art PC #1 and sign with your username. If the postcard arrives please rate the sender with a 5 even if it is not your favorite subject. You can check your partner's profile to find likes or dislikes. Please no nudes, Playboy Bunnies or bad taste. Book stores have magazines for 50 cents with beautiful photos. Let's share something we like. |
