Description:

This is the Christmas themed version of my rounds of Happy Mail, Yay! (regular version coming up soon).

Don't you just love getting home and finding awesome and colorful mail in your mailbox? If you do, then this is the swap for you.

This is a low cost swap, and I’ll be hosting the regular version on a monthly basis.

The requirements are:

Send a super cute envelope with a Christmas theme, using any medium you want, stickers, washi tape, rubber stamps, anything, just make sure it looks super cute. No sticker slapping, this is a mail art swap, you have to put your heart into it. There’s no need to be extra talented, but you need to do your best to make your partner happy.

Include the following flat items:

  • 1 Christmas sticker sheet
  • 5 washi tape samples (12 inch/30 centimeters each). If possible, send Christmas themed washi samples, if that’s not possible, choose Christmas colors like red, green, golden, or any other color suitable for the theme.
  • 1 Christmas postcard Store-bought or handmade.
  • 1 teabag If you can find a Christmas themed teabag, then great. If not, choose a flavor that reminds you of Christmas or a teabag with a red, green or golden wrapping (or any other wrapping that you think fits the theme). And if you’re feeling extra creative, make your own teabag wrapping (remember not to take the teabag off of its original wrapping).
  • 3 Christmas items of your choice Store-bought or handmade. Some ideas: bookmarks, tags, die cuts, stationery, blank notecards, handmade envelopes, confetti, postage stamps, ephemera, smash bits, project life cards, the list is endless. Please also include a nice Christmas card or note or tag for your partner and don't forget to include your username and swap name.

This is a sender's choice swap, so you can get started on your swap as soon as you want. It's always nice to check your partner's profile, but ultimately this is sender's choice, so if you receive something you don't like, you can send it in another round of these swaps or any other swap.

The total weight of your envie should be no more than 40-50 grams, so that neither of us spends too much on postage. Use postage stamps if possible.

Requirements: People with a 4.98 rating and a minimum of 40 rated type 2 and 3 swaps (rated, not sent). You must have been a Swap-bot member for the past 6 months. No recent or unexplained 1's or 3's. I reserve the right to ban swappers as I see fit.

Please rate your partner promptly and if there's any issues with your outgoing/incoming mail, get in touch with your partner (and me if needed). Remember communication is key.

I will angel this swap in case someone flakes, but I'll make sure to remove all questionable swappers and make this swap as safe as possible.

If you have any questions, suggestions or doubts, please don't hesitate to contact me or add a comment below.

Happy swapping everyone!

can you add hot cocoa instead of tea for us non tea drinkers??

milamilamura 10/20/2017 #

Nope. I don't mind if a swapper wants to send hot cocoa and they ask their partner if they're ok with that, but I'm not ok with swappers asking to get another type of hot drink as this is a sender's choice swap and hot cocoa might make the envelope go over 50 grams.
