dying to make another zine? me too! even if you're not a seasoned zinester, let's swap zines containing whatever you'd like. music zines, perzines, riot grrrl, political, poetry... anything that floats your boat. zines can be any dimensions but must contain at least 25 pages (excluding front/back cover). i strongly encourage to shoot for more, though. this means NO mini zines, sorry. let's go all out, put your ideas to paper, get it out! i'm leaving a month and a half to make the zines but if you think more time is needed, let me know! (depending on when you catch this... you actually have 3 months to make it) we'll be sending to 5 partners so we can get a good variety of zines. and since this is international, most of your zine must be in english. must have 4.8 rating and at least 5 mailed swaps. newbies must have a filled out profile. if anyone looks suspicious, i will ban. leave comments if you have questions. :)

do i need to make 5 zines, or is it ok to make an original, and then photocopy it 5 times to send out? xx

oh, i definitely mean photocopy the zine 5 times! making 5 separate zines would be way too much work for that small amount of time! :)

How big do you want these zines? Does 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" sound okay?

tamipal, make the zine any size you would like (except mini)! :) i believe those dimensions are considered the 3/4 sized zine, which is what i'm doing!

I've never made a zine, but I have so many ideas. I might have to try and find a tutorial on how to put it all together. This sounds like so much fun.

what do ya'll consider a mini zine? i know a sheet a paper folded into 8 is a mini.. what about a sheet folded into 4? i think that is 1/4 size..

a sheet folded into 4 is a 1/4. i consider a mini zine anything smaller than a 1/4.
