2009 Second-Hand Birthday Surprise

I have always thought that birthdays should be a day of celebration, a day to be honored for coming into this world and being on this planet . . . .so for this swap, you will send your partner a birthday package at the beginning of their birth month filled with special second hand treasures only (based on their profile and or conversations). Please take special care & wrap the item or items and make this just like any birthday gift you would give any friend. No more than $10 should be spent - we have to remember the cost of shipping too.

In our age of technology, I also think many of us (or at least I) have forgotten the art of letter writing or simply sending a card with a personal note. So please think about including one or the other too.

Make this a birthday treat that you would be envious for!!!!!!

Communication is key though. If you’re going to be late with the swap, let your partner know. If your partner tells you he/she is going to be late, and keeps up the communication, give him/her a break. Sometimes things come up that just can’t be helped. Life happens!
