Every day someone would be asked, or ask “Did you get the mail?” and if the answer was 'not yet', there would be an instant dash to our mailbox and a return dash to distribute what came. I always loved seeing my name on the Addressed To line.The handwriting so indicative of the writer’s personality or mood.

To continue the love affairs with mailboxes, let's fill each others with letters written about receiving mail, make it a love story.

Write a note card about a time you received a fantastic piece of mail.
Was the envelope amazing? Were you waiting for it? Was it a surprise? What was your reaction? Did you save the contents?

Then, add a Lagniappe "something given or obtained gratuitously or by way of good measure." to make the mail a little bit more special. This can be sender's choice.
