Description:

Do you have holiday-themed note cards, but find that you can't send them out in Christmas card swaps because they're blank inside? Well then, this is the swap for you!

The Deets

This swap is super simple and low stress: Take two of your handy dandy holiday-themed note cards from your stash and use them to write a note to your partners. What you write is up to you. You could tell them what you are hoping Santa will bring you this year, or about how much you hate dealing with your mother-in-law. You could write about your favorite holiday tradition, or just write about something that's on your mind (not even related to the holiday). In other words, just write a nice note!

No cheating What does that mean? You can't just write down your favorite quote, sign your name, and call it a day. Write a real note - you can do it!

To clarify, no quotes at all. This is a happy little note to your partner!

Two partner swap.

Remember - this is low stress! That means you are not required to decorate the envelope, include a flat surprise, or a tea bag. Hey, if you want to do it, go ahead - however, you are not at all required to do so.

The Pesky Rules:

  • Be sure to include your swap-name and name of swap in the note card!

  • No recent 1's or unexplained 3's. In fact, probably no 1's at all - but if you had a retaliatory 1 or an unfair 1 from a few years ago, we'll talk. I'm an understanding gal... to a point! :)

  • No newbies. If you aren't sure if you're a newbie or not, then you probably are.

  • No APO/FPO addresses - stateside addresses only please.

WORTH MENTIONING

While I tend not to have a minimum rating posted on my note card swaps, be forewarned - I do check profiles. I check to see if there are comments to low ratings (and sometimes even email your partner to see if you attempted to make it right), I check dashboards to see if there are swaps with past due dates, and also try to keep abreast of the non-raters and also the people I consider to be "takers" - you know, the people who are all over RAKs in the forums, but never offer up any themselves.

If you fall into any of the above categories, it's highly doubtful that you'll make the cut!
