Hi Everyone! This is my first swap so feel free to critique me so I can improve :) This swap is for a notecard handwritten in to 1 partner. In your notecard you will discuss a difficult situation you've been through in the past and coping mechanisms you used to cope with your situation. You do NOT have to go into detail about your difficult situation if you do not want to. For example, I may say "When my father passed away I tried _________ and it really helped me to deal with my anxiety." If you'd like to go into more detail and get things off your chest, feel free but it is not required. Try to give your partner a variety of coping mechanisms and skills that you used to deal with your difficult situation. One or all of the things you list may really help your partner through a difficult time in the present or future! If you need more space, add in some extra paper/stationery with your notecard. Please add a flat goody with your notecard. It should be nothing expensive, but just something that will make your partner smile. If you want to, make them something handmade that is flat. Ideas for flat goodies: washi tape samples, ATC made by you, sheet of pretty stickers, postcard, a drawing/Zentangle, stamped images, neat playing cards or game pieces that are flat, a bookmark, a handmade envie, journal tags/cards, Project Life cards, a photograph you took, ephemera, tea, you get the picture :) To recap: You will send your partner 1 notecard (handmade or store bought) briefly discussing a difficult time you've been through and tell them what coping mechanisms you used that were helpful for you. You will include a flat goody of your choosing. This is sender's choice so feel free to start writing and choosing your goody now :) Thanks in advance! |
