Description:

For this swap, we will create one Tim Holtz inspired ATC for one partner. This is sender’s choice for theme and color, so you can get started any time you wish.

For this challenge, you will need to follow these 3 rules:

1 - Use ONE stencil (Tim Holtz or any other that works with his style)

2 - Use at least TWO Distress inks/paints

3 - Add at least ONE other element that is either Tim Holtz or similar style. This can be using a rubber stamp, die cut, paper, ephemera, or embellishment. This step cannot be a repeat of any of the 2 steps above, meaning you can't use a stencil again or an ink or paint and count it for step 3.

You may then add any additional elements like ephemera, rubber stamping, textiles, ribbon, old photos, flowers, paints, etc. to complete your ATC.

The Distress inks/paints in Step 2 must be genuine TH. Other than that, feel free to use substitute items that are either true vintage (old photos, ephemera, aged lace, old pen nibs, rusty keys, etc.) or new products that have the look and feel of TH.

ATC rules apply. Size must be 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches (or 64mm X 89mm). Be sure to use a strong and sturdy backing, not just paper or cardstock. On the back of your ATC, please include your name, date, and name of the swap.

Please include a little note to your partner, telling them what you used for each step of the requirements. I find sometimes once we get layering a lot, it's not always obvious. It's also nice to know color combinations, or which stencil or die cut it is, for future inspiration.

Have fun with this! Let your creativity roam, but do be sure to follow the 3 requirements. Create an ATC you are proud of and happy to send out.

If you receive an ATC meeting the above requirements, kindly rate your lovely partner a 5. Hearts are up to you.

Please feel free to message me with any questions, or post below :)

Happy creating!
