Description:
You will have 1 partner. Create a "vintage shabby" themed pocket letter. Personally, I think of lace, pearls, ribbons, flowers, vintage images and paper, soft colors, etc. The front of the pocket letter should be decorated. That means that once goodies are removed, every pocket should still be embellished and beautiful. The back of the pocket letter does not need to be decorated. Although the decorated front will be the focus, please include 5 small goodies in the back (the front is for decoration only this time). Goodies are sender's choice and do not need to be related to the theme. Some examples are washi tape, buttons, charms, ribbon, lace, quotes, stamped images, tea, punches, stickers, paperclips, etc. A letter is not necessary, but don't forget to include the swap info in one of the pockets. Have fun! This is a group swap, so we shouldn't have any issues. However, I will angel if necessary. Image is not my own. You can find it at Something Beautiful By Julie.

I would like clarification on this part of the swap description please:

The front of the pocket letter should be decorated. That means that once goodies are removed, every pocket should still be embellished and beautiful. The back of the pocket letter does not need to be decorated.

Are the embellishments on the fronts supposed to be removeable or is that a mistake? and all the goodies go in the back which is not decorated? and are there supposed to be embellishments on the outside of the front pockets or can all be on the inside of each pocket?

Im sorry, but I'm always confused by the embellishments attached to the outside of the pockets which seems to somtimes be a requirement and with the photo of this one being highly decorated on the outside of the front pockets I just want to make sure I understand the expectation.

@Hag53 Thanks for the question.

1) Pretties/decoration in the front - not meant to be removed

2) Goodies in the undecorated back

3) Decorations on the OUTSIDE of the pockets is okay, but not a requirement.

Photo is just an example, not an expecatation.

I hope that cleared it up.

That makes it crystal clear! thank you so much! the requirements are perfect for me and I love the idea of this swap! thanks for coming up with it. I just did some shabby chic dotees and hoop art projects... I love all the lace and pearls and ivory and pink flowers! and a little touch of soft green sometimes...
