Description: | |
This should be a nice, easy, slightly crafty swap. Make or buy a pretty Friendship Book for your partner. Decorate the front and back cover nicely. The back cover should have your partner's name and address on, so that the last person to receive the books knows where to send it back to. On the first page include your name and address, plus some details about you (hobbies, family, likes and dislikes, whatever you want to put and will fit on the page) Decorate your page nicely with drawings, embellishments, stickers, whatever you feel like so long as it looks pretty and send on to your partner. Your partner can then send it on to other pen pals to fill it up with more addresses if they choose, or they could just write back to you and hopefully get a new pen pal. If there is enough interest in this swap and I get some encouraging comments I would be happy to run a series or swaps where we can swap friendship books to get them filled up via swapbot without having to send them on our existing pen pals for new addresses. The book itself shouldn't be too big to cut down on postage costs. It only needs to be big enough to fit an address, plus a little decoration on. It should have at least eight pages, but not too many more otherwise it will take ages to get full of addresses. In case anyone isn't sure what a friendship book is you can look it up here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendship_book There is a tutorial here for you to look at to give you some ideas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6REHoqvlr_4 Any questions please ask in the comments box or PM me. Also, thank you to PurpleButterfly for allowing me to host this swap. |
