Description:

Shall we continue with our fabulous doll stamps by Julie Nutting?

For this swap we'll use our doll stamps by Julie Nutting.

We will make one 5x7" page or art journal page. Some of the dolls are actually larger than 7 inch, so the art journal page may be larger on which your doll fits. This is optional.

Theme: Surprise!

Advise: check your partner's profile for likes or dislikes.

The page must be sturdy. It can be card stock, watercolour card stock, etc.

We will need to have at least 5 different embellishments including the background. So the page must be decorated, whether is painted, coloured or paper pierced.

Embellishments can be patterned paper, paint, coloured pencils, stamps, ribbon, flowers, buttons, brads, eyelets, etc. Stickers at a minimum are allowed. Feel free to add more if you like! There are a lot of possibilities.

You must not have any unresolved 1's. No recent 3's, without an explanation. Newbies with a well filled out profile are welcome to join.

I angel the swaps that I host, but I think it won't be needed. If you don't think you can follow the criteria or send, then don't sign up.

Rating is just as important as sending. Swapping is fun and rewarding.

Happy swapping!

i have a ? about mailing this, how do you safely mail a roject internationally?

Lucine 01/ 3/2016 #

@craftygolfer You can use a bubble envelope or tuck the page in tissue paper for protection;)

@craftygolfer Send it the same as you would within the USA! If it is dimensional however, that's different. I find that by padding everything else to make the project level (I use thin foam padding) this makes the embellishments not as likely to be crushed or tear through the envelope. You can also add box board (like a cereal box) over top but that can smoosh paper flowers etc. It's all about making those huge mailing machines happy! They don't like bumps (like a sewing machine foot) but take thickness ok. I personally don't find that tissue helps much. Pretty though!!
