ETH = Encouragement Through the Holidays (I just don't like writing out long swap names!) Hello Lovelies! The holidays are a sad, lonely, stressful and/or frustrating time for many. Perhaps you have lost loved ones, or are far away from your families, or are facing medical issues. Maybe you're already feeling the pressure of cooking big meals, cleaning the house for company, and shopping for the perfect gifts. Maybe it's a rift in a relationship, a job loss, or being in an unfamiliar place that has you down. Maybe you just want to crawl under the covers and stay there until January because YOU. CAN'T. EVEN. Maybe you're just having an off week, or you caught a nasty cold, or they cancelled your favorite TV show. Whatever your reason for feeling out of sorts, this swap is for you! Let's help turn someone's frown upside down!! You will send your partner the following things: 1) An uplifting/encouraging quote 2) A happy/uplifting poem 3) Something with stars! (this could be a sheet of stickers, a keychain, an ATC...whatever...just please don't send something your partner doesn't like/want) 4) A funny joke or comic (nothing inappropriate unless your partner specifically says they like that) 5) Write an encouraging note to your partner in a nice card Put all these things in an envelope and jazz it up so your partner can start smiling as soon as they pull it out of the mailbox! This is a swap for ENCOURAGEMENT so please don't be a flaker and make your partner sad :'( US only. 4.98 rating requirement. Must have completed and been rated for at least 10 type 2 or 3 swaps. No 1's, no unexplained 3's. I will be checking profiles! I'll be running this swap once a week through the holidays - let's keep our chins up! We can do this! |
