Support a Charity

T'is the season to rejoice in our loved ones and show how much we care with gifts from the heart.

This swap is intended to do two things: lift someone's day with a small surprise and support a worthy charity at the same time.

What to send: For this swap, you'll support a charity by purchasing a small gift ($5USD max) for your partner from an organization or charity. This is NOT a charity shop where people donate things to be resold -- like Salvation Army or something. Look around -- they are everywhere. Examples: lots of animal humane organizations have little shops where you can buy pet related things. Schools are often doing fundraisers at this time of the year -- that counts too. Organizations such as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts count too. I will probably go to a little local shop here that sells leather items and supports widows. This is sender's choice. Use your imagination and use your money to support a worthy organization AND send a little surprise to someone. ALSO: include a short note about the organization you chose and why. Finally: wrap it up nicely!

Who can join: Anyone with 4.95 and doesn't have any 1's. No unrated newbies this time. Sorry. As always, I'll check profiles and toss out anyone who concerns me.
