For this swap, you will be sending your partner a letter based on the monthly theme. Along with the letter, you will send your partner a flat item. Letters can be handwritten or typed and they must be a minimum of one 8 1/2" x 11" page. This month our theme is "SUPPER TIME". Send your partner a letter about what you are having for supper this week. Include what you ate for at least 3 days. Also, include anythings else you would like to share about supper time. For example, your favorite supper, where you eat, a childhood memory about supper... Write anything you wish as long as you include what you had at supper time for at least 3 days. Include a flat supper related surprise for your partner. It could be a recipe for one of the dishes you fixed for supper this week. If you didn't cook, you can send a take out menu from one of the restaurants that you ate at. If you were on vacation and ate out, send a postcard of the place you visited and write about some new foods you tried. My son was the inspiration for this theme. On his postcrossing account, the question he ask everyone to answer was "What is your favorite breakfast?" He got some great responses. We both found that to be a very interesting topic and ended up enjoying the responses on the postcards as much as the postcards themselves. |
