A. Lee Martinez is a great January author -- werewolves and vampires on road trips in the desert, sexy robot detectives, succubi who try not to be sexy, gods who sleep on other god's followers' couches ... well, it's the perfect post-Hogmanay sort of reading, right? Here's the challenge: read one book by A. Lee Martinez and make one interesting object to celebrate it. Possible objects include a passport for A Nameless Witch, a game Quetzalcoatl might like, the contents of the Automatic Detective's wallet, Photo booth images of a teenage Minotaur and friend, Nearly Dead Ned's marching orders, a to-do list for a Kobold housekeeper, or heck, go 3D and create a vehicle that can hold a werewolf and a vampire on a road trip. OR make something up; making something up is frequently good GASP etiquette. One A. Lee Martinez object of your choice to celebrate one A. Lee Martinez novel of your choice for one amazing GASP partner in good standing. I pledge to Minotaur, or possibly White Knight, maybe Quetzalcoatl? all unsent swaps. Nessy may be sent in to clean up, however, if flakiness develops in something other than Loretta's pie crust. |
