Similar to Artist Trading Cards(ATC'S) the Witch's Altered Spell Cards were initiated by me.These were made when i belonged to a group called "Altered Book Of Shadows"..Wanting something different and unusual i came up with this version which suited us and our desire to keep with our beliefs. The rules of the cards are simple and just like ATC's in the same size.The only difference being you must decorate the front and the back must be a spell.Any and all mediums are welcome as long as the front and back are decorated and the card has a spell. The theme for our first swap will be Samhain.You must decorate and add a spell pertaining to the Holiday Samhain.We will be creating 2 cards for 1 partner.This swap is open to beginners and those at all levels.However you must use card stock or something similar as your base.You cannot use stickers anywhere on the W.A.S.C.... 2 -Witch's Altered Spell Cards 1-Partner I will allow anyone with good ratings to join this swap.I will also angel this swap and or ask for angels. Since i am the original creator of this type of card.If you want to start a swap of your own that is fine.However i will ask that be given credit for the idea and a link back to this swap. Thanks ladies and gentlemen and hope you will join.

Is there a link where I can learn more about W.A.S.C.'s?? Is it part of Wicca?? I have been interested in learning more about Wicca and the spirt world.

cat228:I haven't bloged about W.A.S.C.'s they were created when i was part of a group.The cards we made were based on our own belief system.Yes some of them were wiccan and some were pagan.I am a hedge witch so mine were based on that path.

I will be scanning a picture later to put on the swap.

cerwinrhiannon:You can also print the spell out and glue to the back of your card.Then of course just decorate around the words.

Ok decorated part done. Spell part harder than I thought. Boyfriend has too much faith in me, claims I can make my own spell up.

I'm with you CreatedByWendy...I'm having issues with the concept of my personal Fall Season spells being "good enough to share". Think about it this way, there are rituals that we all have. There are seasonal things we do...when those things are done consciously and with magical intent...that's your spell...When you put love into a pie, that's a spell...You're trying to have an object carry energy to someone else....How do you share your energy? How do you let others know they are loved? Spells are not all ABRACADABRA and bubble bubble toil eye of newt, my darlings. :>
