So I had quite the entertaining idea for a penpal swap. This will NOT be your standard "Hi I'm Nicole from so and so, blah blah" penpal letter. Each person needs to fill out a character profile for the person sending you a roleplay story involving the character but you will write in first person. For example, say your swap partner fills out a character profile like this: Name: Fiona McClure Age: 35 Appearance: 5'4, long wavy copper hair, navy blue eyes, often wears button up blouses and pencil skirts and coordinating high heels. The first thing I would do is think of why my character would write Fiona McClure if I was a stranger to her. So as an example here I go: "Dear Fiona McClure, You don't know me in any fashion, yet I am well aware of who you are. I would not risk sending you this letter if it did not mean that you would otherwise die. Please pay attention as best as you can, but remember to destroy this letter once you have its contents memorized and you are certain to follow its instructions to the letter. My name is Tyrin. I work for an agency that isn't established, yet. I come from 400 years into your future. As things stand, if you do not make the necessary corrections to your timeline, you will cease to exist." And so forth. I'd like to send at least three handwritten pages or three single spaced typed and printed (accordingly) to your one swap partner. If it involves maps, or cryptograms etc you can send them too, but they don't count for the letter. If its from the past, or future please do your best to make it look like it came from the era the setting comes from. If you'd like ideas on where to take your story you can always check your partners profile for what they like or ask them what sort of stories they like etc. This could lead to some interesting roleplaying penpal letters with your swap partner! Minimum Rating of 4.8 with no recent 1s or 3s. At least 15 completed swaps please, and make sure you have a well filled out profile :). For general ideas on Roleplaying on general, here is a guideline for online roleplaying, which is kinda where I got the start of an idea of these roleplay letters, so if you've never done online roleplaying be sure to check this out Γ°ΕΈββ‘ http://rpedia.tumblr.com/post/18253901905 |
