Freely stealing from Jayme, who stole from weeatcrayons, but we don't mention her... ;-)

Are you in an envelope making mood? Why not continue the trend!

For this swap you will make 6 different envelopes for your partner out of kawaii paper/memo sheets. There is a video tutorial/explanation by @ColoradoKate here.

Some memo sheets have an envie already printed on it and you could just cut it out, fold, and glue it together. Some memos have an all-over print and would make a great envelope. Just open up a mini envelope and trace around it or use one of your cut-out ones as a template to make more! You can also use origami paper with a kawaii design or letterset papers. Just keep it kawaii!

Please make your envelopes nice and neat! No sloppy, glue smeared everywhere, paper hanging over the edges junk! Send something that you would be thrilled to receive please.

I'll be on vacation during this swap, too bad.

I was just pulling memos out yesterday to make some more sticker slams and started setting memos aside for this swap too. =)

Approximately how small is too small and how big is too big?

P.S. I love making envelopes....

Well, I mostly use the 4"x6" memo sheets for this swap so that limits how big your envies are going to be. I think I've made a few as tiny as 1"x2" before, but most of mine are around 3"x2" or 2"x2". How big would depend on the size of paper you've got really.

Personally, I'd say "mini" in this case is anything under 3.5"x5" since that's the smallest that will go thru the postal system. =)

^^^ Agreed. ^^^ The "point" of this swap is to share the kind of mini envelopes you put flakes in ...and then into regular envelopes to mail.

Paige, I'll send you some so you know what we're talking about. =D
