Summer reading lists abound this time of year. But there are some lists that are required reading -- for students! Head to your local library, retailer that sells office/school supplies, or your local school division's website. Find the Summer 2015 reading list for high school students. You'll send your partner a copy of that list, but there are two twists: a) identify all of the books on the high school reading list that you've personally read. b) Identify one book from the high school list that you have not read but commit to read before summer's end. Tell your partner which one it is and why you've selected it. Super easy. Waiting for partner assignments is not necessary. Just go find the summer reading list for your local school district. The goals: see what's required reading these days ... and read! I'm making this a USA only swap because I don't know if other countries have summer reading lists for students. International officers, feel free to post a duplicate swap for your country. U.S.A. Group membership. Snail mail. |
