Pocket Letter Book of Shadows #2 Air

If you mean the pockets would contain items for actual spell work than you are going to have a very bulky book. If you mean written info, than that might work. I would like to see an actual done page before I would commit to this.

@magickspirit51 I included spell work items in my last page for Earth which included: a stick of palo santo wood, incense, small stones, seeds, and so on. It wasn't thin like a normal pocket page, but the items fit into the pockets.

I included items that were to be used up. So, initially it was a tad bulky, but if my partner actually used the items, then it would lay flat.

Mine were made to lay flat. I included a sprig of Lavender from my garden in one pocket, a stone in another. I made sure they were in different sides so that when the pocket was folded, it laid relatively flat.

AIR is more of a challenge for me and while I have a very good start on it, this Element is much more work to contain in little pockets.

I was just told that my AIR PL did not meet my partner's standards. I am sorry she feels that way.

However, I did my best and interpreted it the way I thought it was meant. I did send one cartoon that I think depicts just how and why some folks do weather working, which the cartoon clearly indicated was not wise.

I also included a number of my spells and gave her one of my Raven feathers. I think that AIR represents our thoughts and thought that it is harder to include something other than thoughts, ideas and opinions as a tangible item. Spells, photos, even the cartoon were what I chose.

She can rate me down on it as she says she will. For the hours I spent on it, I guess it is what it is. And giving me more time is not going to change how I felt about my work.

I'd love to see photos of what any of you did as a comparison.

here are pictures of the PL I received from njstauter. The only 2 items in the pockets were a feather and a tattoo consecration spell.

@njstauter regardless of the above situation (which I am not judging) I would appreciate it if you would join the rest of the PL swaps for this BOS series! I've browsed your profile many times and you seem so educated about anything Wicca-related. I've hoped a few times that I would get paired with you some time so that I can soak up some of your knowledge and enjoy some of your creativity. The link to see your PL doesn't work, and I'm not sure how to post a picture of mine for comparison, so I can't be of any help there. But I wish you all good luck in getting it sorted.

I also took photos of the PL I sent for this swap and all 9 pockets WERE FILLED on both sides. It makes me wonder what happened to everything in transit. I usually have a good relationship with the fae so am surprised it arrived with only a Bird Cartoon, a Raven feather and a Tattoo Consecration Spell. (I could not see the pics taken either) I forwarded the package of empty 9-pockets to my partner. Some things are just ok to release. There are other ways and other partners for me to swap. Thank you for wanting me to continue in the series. I believe in practicing my faith in peace.

The package arrived intact, so there's no way anything was lost in transit. here is a corrected link to what I received. Nothing has been tampered with from the time it was taken out of the envelope.
